Casey Porn holds a Bachelor of Art and Design from North Carolina State University's College of Design. Porn has exhibited extensively throughout the east coast, most recently Cuddly Need Not Apply at the Leo Kesting Gallery (2008) in New York City. In 2008, Porn was awarded the Regional Emerging Artist Residency at Raleigh’s Artspace.
“I’m pretty sure that animals are people too. Since they can’t talk, I have taken it upon myself to tell their stories. For the Epic Battle series, I’m exploring the plight of endangered animals in an ongoing battle for survival against natural predators and man made situations. Adorned in modern and ancient combat gear, my warriors become fallen heroes, ill equipped to take on the epic forces beyond their control. “
